Social Work Education in Times of Crisis: From a Glocal Perspective

The global COVID-19 Pandemic has had a profound impact on social work education and practice. More than ever, the pandemic has shown that our lives are globally interdependent and that mutual understanding and solidarity on the global level are crucial to meet the challenges of globalization. In light of this, the symposium will utilize both global and local (glocal) perspectives to consider difficulties and challenges that social work education and practice faced during the COVID-19 Pandemic around the world and in specific regions, as well as innovations that have taken place in the process of overcoming these.

The symposium is free of charge, 1000 people can join it. English and Japanese simultaneousĀ  translation will be provided.
